How can we help?

At-Home Program

The Overcomers At-Home Program (OCAH) is a twelve-week counseling program which features weekly counseling sessions and many of the same teaching offered in the Live-In Program. This program is available to struggling men and their wives, teens and struggling women.

How it Works

The OCAH curriculum is exclusively designed to bring each counselee to true repentance and teach them how to live in daily victory over sin. Each week, participants work through daily assignments, mail in their homework and have a 30-minute counseling session over the phone.  Our OCAH counselors, trained in biblical counseling and graduates of our Live-In or OCAH Programs, know how to instill hope as they disciple participants into freedom.

We strongly urge married couples to go through this program together.  Not only will the wife's involvement be an encouragement to her husband, but this program will profoundly assist the couple as they deal with the inevitable problems that arise in marriages plagued by sexual sin.

Help For Wives

A man's wife is often left in the shadows when his sin comes to the surface.  PLM recognized the unique needs of these women, and is dedicated to helping them overcome the emotional pain, shame, and feelings of hopelessness they experience.  Wives who participate in the OCAH Program will be assigned a trained biblical counselor who has experienced this ordeal herself and can give meaningful encouragement and direction from the Word of God.

Help for Struggling Women

The struggling woman who is determined to regain control over her life soon realizes that, while a one-time call is helpful, the on-going support of a female counselor is invaluable. This program not only provides that crucial weekly telephone call, but it also lays out a course of action that will take the person into a life of victory.

Help for Teens

When Mature teens put their heart into the At-Home Program they reap the same life-changing results adults do. Over the years we have helped young people put the biblical principles in place to not only live in victory over their sin, but to have a richer life in God than they ever thought possible. Parents debating whether or not this is the best option for their child should speak with one of our counselors through our Counseling Helpline
