Calling the Church to Holy Living
Christianity is thriving in the U.S. There have never been so many conversions, so many churches, and so much money to support the evangelical enterprise. Bank accounts are bulging, numbers increasing, organizations expanding, and
denominations flourishing. Yet, with all these outward signs of success, why is there so little true godliness in our midst? Where is the power to transform lives? Why are Christians content to be so engulfed in worldliness? Why is sin running rampant in our churches?
We have created a gospel for our own culture that makes no demands, expects no sacrifice, and yields no eternal rewards. We have reduced the Almighty to a harmless icon we passively honor in our busy lives. The vision of a Holy God, a Consuming Fire, a Judge who will one day render unto every man his just reward has virtually vanished out of the American Church.
Steve Gallagher shares the desire in his heart to see the Church called back to holy living and the role Pure Life Ministries is playing.
Reaching Out
The leadership of Pure Life believes that God has given us a voice in the Church. We have joined with other like-minded saints to call the people of God to return to holy living. We do this through every facet of the ministry: teaching materials, magazine and website articles, podcasts, counseling sessions and speaking events. The truth is that holy living is the answer to sexual sin.
