God is merciful in our unrighteouness.  Hebrews 8:8-13 speaks of a new covenant.  Through the blood of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and have the grace to be an overcomer.  

 We cannot keep anything unsurrendered or else we will not be able to stand for Christ in these days we are in.

We will not be hurdled headlong into sin once we come to Jesus, because He is the One who holds our hand and does not forsake the righteous.

God keeps us when we place our hope in Him and in the freedom from sin Jesus purchased on the cross.

We all come to Jesus full of ourselves, but God takes us to a place where we realize He is the only one worth focusing on.

Despite all of our trials, there is one thing that is always constant: God is good.

Mike Johnston speaks about how our fleshly desires lead to sin and death.  But we have hope, in Christ.  Is Jesus your life?

The Christian individual represents the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. God is in the business of creating living miracles, and He will do what you think is impossible if you only believe.

The voice of the enemy and our own flesh brings us to hopelessness when we lose things in this world, but when we truly see our need for God, He imparts hope for life beyond this world.  

Are we finding out the greatness of God's loving heart by resting in Him, even during the trials and hards times? Are we really trusting in Him during the time of loss in our lives?

Do we really have faith in Jesus? Do we really trust God? If we say 'yes', than do we really act accordingly by living in the reality of Jesus every day?

Listen as Steve expounds on the power of praise and the important role it plays in defeating the power of the enemy in your life.  

The story of Jesus healing the demon possessed boy in Mark chapter 9 is a great reminder that Jesus can heal problems we've had our whole lives, and that He can give us faith to believe for our healing.  

Bradley Furges uses a line from an old hymn, "All in all forever, Jesus will I sing, everything in Jesus, and Jesus everything", to pray a prayer of faith believing that the line from the song will become the testimony of our lives.

This teaching reminds us how God has given us life out of the death of sin, and that the appropriate response is to open our hearts towards Him in worship and praise Him for all He's done.  

Jesus accepts us with our sin, and covers our shame, but because of His love He will also judge sin out of our hearts. Do we run from God's conviction like Adam and Eve, or can we say "Yes, I have sinned", and accept His covering?  

This teaching, given by 3 different Pure Life Ministries staff members, is a call to truly worship God, to listen to His loving voice and respond, and to allow ourselves to be won by His amazing love.

Rose Colón share's from the hymn, "Love Lifted Me" of the ability of God's love to lift us out of our tremendous darkness because Jesus completely saves. Brad Furges concludes the talk by reading from Romans 8:28-39, and expressing that those who love God can trust Him to work all things according to His purpose.

When we confess our sins and our weaknesses, a pathway opens to the Lord and He changes us from the inside out. We cannot trust in our own strength to change, it is God's power that transforms us.  

Mike Johnston uses the testimony of a PLM graduate to bear witness to the truth spoken in Isaiah 55, "Seek the Lord while He may be found…". If we turn from our sinful ways and cry out to the Lord, He will hear, and He will answer our cries.

The ministry of Jesus on the earth left an everlasting impact on people's lives: the lame were made to walk, the blind to see, the dead raised, and souls changed for eternity. Jesus is still ministering today on the earth, and Rose Colón shares that as this world becomes darker, the ministry of Jesus Christ will shine brighter and brighter.

Steve Gallagher reads from John 3, and shares that there are many people who still love darkness, yet stand on the fringes of the light of Christ, and so believe themselves to be "in the light". Those who are in darkness cannot have fellowship with those in the light. God is light, and in the light we will find forgiveness and fellowship with God and others.

Four Pure Life Ministries staff members share about God's goodness and mercy, His power to open our blind eyes, His love which calls us to Himself, and the victory Jesus gave us over our flesh.

Our human idea of victory tends to be that once we are free from habitual sin we can go on to live our lives as they were before. However, God's idea of victory is someone who understands what it means to live a disciplined life, and to bear with and love others around us. Victory takes discipline, and victory means a new life.

This is a timely talk given by Mike Johnston concerning where our hope as Christians should lie, even in the midst of a presidential election. Presidents will come and go, elections will come and go, speeches will come and go, the movements of men will come and go, even religious movements will come and go, but that is not where our hope should be. Our Hope should be in the Lord, Who never changes, and Who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

As Christians, we have received tremendous mercy from the hand of God. We have been rescued, forgiven, and loved with an everlasting love. We should have no other response to that kind of love other than to poor the mercy we have received into the lives of people around us. Jeff and Rose Colón give power talks on our responsibility to be vessels of God's mercy in the earth.  

Steve Gallagher and Rose Colón both passionately share about faith. Once we see our need for God, it drives us to know Him more, and once we begin to know Him, we have faith that He will meet our needs. Without belief in God's goodness, we will despair over our sinful state, just as the Psalmist said: "I would've despaired unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord".

When Jesus called his disciples, all he said was, "Come and follow me." Without any explanation of what the future held, they dropped everything and followed Him. Kathy Gallagher shares how Jesus is still calling us the same way today, to give up everything and live our lives for Jesus.

Brad Furges uses Deuteronomy 1:26 and the example of the Israelites to expound on how huge God really is. He cared for their every need, yet the Israelites made one mistake: they complained against the Lord when faced with a trial, forgetting about His previous provision. They accused God of hating them, instead of remembering His past mercy and kindness to them. Brad passionately expresses the truth of how God has carried us through the wilderness even when we couldn't see, or wouldn't believe.  

Brad Furges shares from 2 Peter 1:1-10 about the need for continuous growth and maturity in the life of a Christian. God gives us what we need to change, but when we forget his salvation we become blind to our true need and stop seeking Him for repentance. We should always be asking God to show us our hearts and change us by His power.  

Rose Colón gives an encouraging word to keep believing God because He does hear our prayers. Despite our current circumstances, we can have a testimony of God's power to change us and to make us a blessing to others. God does what He says He is going to do, and He said he would change us; we can either doubt Him as Zechariah did, or have child like faith and say as Mary did to the angel, "Be it unto me according to thy word".

Mike Johnston reads from John 8:31-44 and shares on how the Jews said they believed, but then Jesus said they were of their father the devil. Most Christian's at one point or another, have made a profession of faith, and yet we can still be doing the work of the devil. A true disciple of Jesus must walk out the truth in the bible, and Jesus is faithful to change us from children of darkness into children of Light.

Brad Furges reads out of Psalm 139 and shares about God's infinite knowledge about us; He knows everything we have done and everything we are going to do, yet He still wants us to be His. God never gives up on us, and He has an eternal knowledge of every aspect of our lives.

Rose Colón passionately shares from Ephesians 5 on our spiritual blindness before we know Christ, and God's will for us once He has opened our eyes to the truth. Before we came to the Lord we were spiritually asleep, but God's will for us is that we would awake, be filled with the Spirit, and then redeem our time here on earth.

Kathy Gallagher shares a personal experience of how she became desperate as she dwelt on her sinful state. Through that, the Lord revealed to her how all we have to do when we see our wicked state is "run to Calvary" where we will find love, forgiveness, and our righteousness in Christ Jesus.

Mike shares part of his testimony and how the loss of his ministry and reputation, and his arrival at Pure Life Ministries helped show him his need for God and this principle presented in Psalm 127: "If the Lord does not build the house, the builders labor in vain".

Jesus is not looking for perfection in our walk with Him, but He wants us to be faithful and devoted to Him despite how we feel. God wants us to be able to live by faith, and not by feelings, and that is the difference between defeat and victory.   

Rose Colón uses Ephesians 2:11 to remind us of our depraved state of alienation from God before we came to Jesus, and the incomparable life of true peace and satisfaction we can have in God because of the Cross and the Blood of Christ.

The mercy of God patiently waits to meet us, just as Jesus waited to meet the woman at the well. Rose Colón uses part of her personal testimony to share how God wants us to have an intimate and fulfilling relationship with Him.

Brad Furges quotes "Without trust there can be no surrender, and without surrender there can be no victory." He get's on his knees and pleads with us to fully surrender our hearts to the Lord, and to stop holding onto our lives in this world.

Steve Gallagher explains how we become prisoners of many different things, including religion. He implores the men of Pure Life Ministries to let go of their past lives and move forward into a victorious life in Christ.

Steve Gallagher encourages the men with the truth that God is going to take them through and into His calling for their lives. Jesus is taking us into the glory of the Lord despite what we see in ourselves right now.

Steve Gallagher shares from  experience how  just having the desire for sin is extremely corrupting, and how living in lust creates a cloud of unbelief which prohibits someone from truly believing in the Kingdom of God. Despite someone's sinful condition, God still has a wonderful plan and is able to make them partakers of His divine nature.

The laws and guidelines God places in our lives are not to make us miserable, but to remove barriers from fellowship with God. God just wants to love us. We were created to be recepticles of God's love, for the purpose of giving it out to others.

Steve Gallagher challenges the men of the Pure Life Ministries Live-In program to become conformed to Jesus Christ. He lovingly pleads with them to lay hold of the Lord and to surrender to life changing power of God.

Kathy Gallagher asks the question, "Do you know in whom you have believed?" Believing Him is one thing, knowing him is a completely different thing. Belief is the beginning of the Christian faith, but knowing Him is the answer to living a life a freedom from habitual sin.

Brad Furges tearfully prays through Psalm 51. His passionate prayer brings David’s prayer of repentance to life. It would be good for those in sin to get on their faces before God and join Brad as he pleads for mercy.  

Brad Furges shares how the Israelites saw all the miraculous signs and wonders which God did among them, yet still profaned His name. We also have a choice in our response when we see God moving in our lives or in others: we can either harden our hearts, or go humbly before the throne of grace.  

Brad Furges shares how, during his years of sin and rebellion,  his mom never gave up on him. She stormed heaven with fervent and desperate prayers for his salavation. Brad tearfully expresses how grateful he is that God redeemed all the years of sin in his life, and heard the cries of his precious mother.

Jeff Colón talks about the angels who rose up in pride against God and were instantly cast into hell. “I have the same rebellion in my heart!” he exclaims. But then he talks about the New Covenant and why we have hope—even when we can’t see anything good within us. 

Jeff Colón gives a wonderful talk about how shepherd's will often break the leg of a straying sheep in order to teach the venerable animal to stay close to him. At times, the Shepherd of our souls will use the same kind of mercy to teach us to respond to His leading and guidance; and to guard us from the dangers of being outside His protection.

Jeff Colón speaks of how each of us stand before God, we will each have to account for our lives. It will be utterly futile to claim to know Him in that day, but to have never given out to others the mercy, love, and forgiveness He gave to us while we were on earth. In order to freely dispense the same kindness that we recieve from Jesus to those around us, we must have a full understanding of the price paid for our own lives at Calvary.

Kathy Gallagher shares how worship to God is more than singing a song; it is more than a feeling. It is a response of any true believer who understands the great sacrifice Jesus made on Calvary.

Kathy Gallagher shares how dabbling with the world dries up one's thirst for God. Kathy prays that the Lord would give the listener a great hunger for Him.

Kathy Gallagher shares about Jesus dwelling in us. God living in a person; heart doesn’t seem real to most Christians, but He wants His indwelling presence to be the greatest reality of our lives.

Mike Johnston share about the aspect of the Christian faith that involves fighting. Believers must fight for the things of God. Mike shares how his spiritual lethargy led him down a path into destruction. He begged God to change him but he never upheld his end.

Mike Johnston shares how many Christians when asked if they would die for Jesus, answer a resounding, passionate, "Yes!". But most Christians are unwilling to surrender to Him even in everyday life. This is a sobering wake up call which exposes empty claims and calls for a true death to self.

Steve Gallagher shares how Christians are in a battle with their flesh. The key to winning that battle is found in the word "momentum."

Steve Gallagher share that like so many of the Old Testament kings, Americans are accustomed to having things go their way and getting what they want. But God wants to transform selfish, weak Christians into godly saints of inner strength and character. We will either be moving toward greater godliness or greater carnality.

When God writes His law on a person’s heart, there is something inside him that compels him to live in submission to God. When the Lord has implanted His Seed within the heart, there is a desire that wells up inside that helps a person obey.

God promises that He will bless those who obey Him. A spiritual principle is reaping and sowing, and when we sow obedience, we will reap blessings from God.

When people come into "God's country," they need to get as far into it as possible. Strattling the "state line" is a dangerous place to be.

We often go back and forth between seeing God as a wrath-filled, angry dictator, or a love-filled, permissive ruler. There is a balance between the two, and it is found in the cross.

For years, Robert Reschar gave over to psychology based teaching, which only caused him to focus more on himself than on Jesus. When he came to Pure Life, God started revealing that the sin he had in his life was not based on a past experience, but on his own lack of obedience to God.
