Transitional Counseling Program
Graduates from either the Pure Life Ministries Live-In program or the Overcomers At-Home program (OCAH) may apply for Transitional Counseling at any time, even if it has been years since their graduation.
Participants in Transitional Counseling will be assigned a different counselor than they had while previously enrolled in a Pure Life Ministries counseling program, and acceptance is always dependent upon the availability of counselors.
The goal is to provide a resource for graduates during transitional times or short-term crises, those times when a few weeks of solid biblical counseling would be particularly helpful.Transitional Counseling is a phone-based service with one of the certified biblical counselors from the Pure Life Ministries staff. Transitional Counseling participants work through daily assignments, mail in their homework and have a 30-minute counseling session over the phone each week. The counseling continues for up to six sessions. Additional increments of 6 sessions may be applied for consecutively, or participants may re-apply at any time in the future.
