During one of Jesus’ trips to Capernaum, there were two people in the crowd who couldn’t have been more different from each other. One was an unclean woman, the other, a ruler of the local synagogue. But we can learn much from the one trait they shared: hope. Both of these individuals believed that Jesus could save them from the terrible circumstances they were facing. And it’s this kind of faith which plays a key role in our victory over sexual sin, or in any issue you may be facing.
