#688 - No One Likes a Know It All
Proverbs 18:2 describes the next form of pride we’re tackling–know-it-all pride. It says, “A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own mind.” You don’t have to know everything to be a know-it-all—you just have to believe you have all the answers. This pride is easy to spot in others, but could we be displaying it without realizing it?
We’ll explore why know-it-all pride is so appealing, whether anything good can come from it, and how it can become entangled with sexual sin.
