In the gospels we learn that Jesus is very concerned about our faith. We read how He loved to see a person display great faith, and that He marveled disappointedly at little faith. He wasn’t afraid to act in ways that were hard and confusing in order to help people grow in their faith. That’s what happened to the Canaanite woman. Jesus seemed to be disinterested in helping her. But in the end, He would rejoice over her great faith. And though the path to get what she needed was difficult, He gladly gave her all that she needed!
