The Agony of the Christian Life

Luke Imperato
Director of Residential Counseling

Pure Life Ministries has been a pioneer in dealing with sexual addiction and its consequences for over 35 years. During that span of time thousands of people have found freedom through our counseling programs and teaching materials.

In Luke 13, Jesus commands His followers, “strive to enter the narrow gate.” The Greek word translated as “strive” infers that there is an agonizing fight which the Christian must endure in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Director of Residential Counseling, Luke Imperato, encourages us to fight that fight of faith in today’s message.

Luke Imperato

The Lord transformed Luke’s life at Pure Life Ministries in 2016, following 15 years of uncontrolled sexual immorality. Luke previously served as a combat medic in the US Army and was deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. As a medic in both civilian and military environments, Luke’s passion has always been helping those in dire need. In his position with Pure Life Ministries, he now assists those bound in chains of sexual sin, that they might find hope and freedom through Jesus Christ.
