Living in a corrupt culture, it can be easy for Christians to conform to the lifestyle of unbelievers us and forget our call to be separate from the world. We tend to justify this behavior by using God’s forgiveness and grace as an excuse to allow behavior God has forbidden. But if we examine Scripture closely, it is clear that our freedom in Christ is a call to something higher. 1 Peter reminds us of this when it calls every believer to, “‘Be Holy for I am Holy,’ says the Lord.”
