How to be Fit for God's Kingdom

Director of Residential Counseling

Pure Life Ministries has been a pioneer in dealing with sexual addiction and its consequences for over 35 years. During that span of time thousands of people have found freedom through our counseling programs and teaching materials.

In warfare, soldiers must be physically fit to fight battles and complete their missions. An out-of-shape soldier can become a detriment not only to the mission, but to those around him. The same is true in the spiritual battle. For many in the church, sexual sin, love for the world and other forms of compromise have sapped their spiritual strength and left them unable to live the holy, joy-filled life God desires for them. So how does a believer become spiritually fit for the battle and learn to walk in holiness? One of the means God uses to train and prepare us for His kingdom is discipline.

Luke Imperato

The Lord transformed Luke’s life at Pure Life Ministries in 2016, following 15 years of uncontrolled sexual immorality. He is an FBC Certified Biblical Counselor and currently serves as Director of the Residential Program. Luke previously served as a combat medic in the US Army and was deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. As a medic in both civilian and military environments, Luke’s passion has always been helping those in dire need. In his position with Pure Life Ministries, he now assists those bound in chains of sexual sin, that they might find hope and freedom through Jesus Christ.
