Many of us are easily fascinated by the miracles of physical healing found in Scripture. Many Christians go to stories like the paralytic at Bethesda or the cleansing of the ten lepers to find encouragement and hope. And while this is good, we can sometimes miss the spiritual lessons behind these miracles. Each one can be viewed as a small parable, rich with meaning about Jesus’ purpose as Savior for fallen man. In Sunday’s message, Pastor Ed Buch highlighted a few of the healings Jesus performed in hopes that we might connect with those stories and see how God might reveal His Son to us in a greater way.
