Responding to Jesus
Jesus began His public ministry by speaking in the synagogue of His hometown and declaring that He was the promised Messiah. His words, taken from the prophesy of Isaiah, captured His listeners attention. But when the truth of God’s Word confronted them they hardened their hearts against it, and the same phenomenon can happen in our hearts as well.
